The hidden cost of indecision fatigue

Over the last couple of years, I went through a period of uncertainty in my business. I wasn’t sure who I was, who I was helping, or the best way to make the money needed to support my family. Every decision I made came from fear, survival, and what I felt I “should” be doing based on what others were doing. Some of it worked. None of it felt great.

Being in the place of indecision was absolutely exhausting. I burned out. I felt like I was failing. I wasn’t sure what to do next.

Finally, I took a step back and really looked at what gave me energy and what didn’t, what felt supportive and authentic, and what didn’t. I removed all of the external expectations, what others were doing, what I felt I “should” do, and what I thought people were thinking about me. I went back to who I am, to what lights me up, and I finally found a home inside of my business again.

Maybe you have been in this place of uncertainty. Where you are thinking, rethinking, honing, getting certifications, courses, programs, hiring the coaches all to help you figure out the best way. To understand how to make the money, get the clients, and feel good in your business.

The problem that I see my clients do (and that I did, as well) is that they look externally for answers. They search for someone to tell them what they should do. When the answers have been within the whole time.

I invite you today to get quiet. To remove all of the external factors and listen inward. What do you really want your business to be? What offers light you up? Who do you really want to serve?

Why should you do this? There are four aspects of your business that are costing you energy (time, money, space) when you sit in indecision.

Marketing confusion. You sit down to write a post and you're not sure which offer to talk about, so you talk about all of them a little, and the post ends up saying nothing clearly. Clients don’t know how to work with you or why they even should.

Customer confusion. Someone lands on your page ready to buy, and instead of one obvious next step, they see four options and no idea which one is for them. Confused people don't buy. They close the tab and mean to come back later.

Delivery fatigue. You're stretched across offers that all require different energy, different systems, different versions of you to show up. By the time you're actually delivering, you're running on fumes before the client even shows up.

Launch fatigue. You pivot, rebuild, relaunch, rethink. Again. And again. Each time it takes a little more out of you, and a little more of your audience's trust that this one is going to stick.

You can stop getting caught up in the hustle culture message that you’re not working hard enough. You are definitely capable. And your goals are on your heart for a reason… So, what’s the problem? Sticking with the decisions you make and having the confidence to know you have made the decision that’s right for you right now.

So here's what I invite you to actually do.

Look at everything you're currently offering, every tool you're currently paying for, every certification sitting on your shelf, and ask one honest question about each one. Does this actually light me up.

Not does it make sense on paper. Not is it what worked for someone you followed into this. Does it light you up, specifically, when you imagine doing it for the next year.

Some things will pass that test easily. Some things you'll hesitate on, and that hesitation is information. Listen to it. That's usually where the real clarity is hiding.

Once you know what actually lights you up, the rest gets simpler. Your offers make sense, your marketing is clear, and your delivery feeds your energy. Your confidence climbs because you know exactly what you’re offering and why. People can feel it. It's the difference between content that lands and content that gets scrolled past.

I know this is a lot to sort through on your own, especially when you're the one standing too close to all of it. That's exactly what a Strategy Intensive is for. Two hours together, going through your offers, your tools, your capacity, and yes, what actually lights you up, until the noise clears and you're left with one plan you actually trust.

Not because you can’t do it on your own or because I have the magic eight ball. But because talking these things through with someone who is intuitive and has the experience can bring so much clarity to your business, it will save you a ton of time, energy, and money.

You don't need more options. You need a clear decision, and someone in the room to help you make it.

Book your Strategy Intensive.
